Job Description

We are seeking a creative, motivated Account Supervisor to join our expanding consumer brand team. This role is responsible for acting as the day-to-day client contact, actively managing multiple projects and programs both strategically and from a budgetary standpoint. The Account Supervisors at RUTH play an active role in collaborating with the team and mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities:

• Spearhead earned media initiatives with a focus on reaching the right contacts with the right news; thoughtful consideration of non-traditional media to maximize impact.
• Build relationships with third-party influencers and internal business partners to meet client needs.
• Commit to continuous learning and improvement of leadership skills; set and pursue stretch goals.
• Consistently produce high quality internal and external communications content.
• Contribute to business growth through introducing clients to new capabilities, building network of industry contacts and participating in relevant professional organizations.
• Demonstrate tactical proficiency in integrated communications, including creating and driving both traditional and social media outreach plans.
• Play a major role in the creation of communications plans and goals & managing against them.
• Oversee operational performance of accounts, ensuring quality work, deadline and budget adherence.
• Serve as daily client contact, with flexibility to be onsite at their office, acting as agency representative and addressing client issues thoughtfully and effectively.
• Supervise staff by motivating, mentoring, coaching, consistently providing feedback, holding them accountable and conducting their reviews.

Qualifications:

• Planning and executing events successfully is something that excites you.
• Proven ability to think strategically, creatively and holistically about client programs.
• Desire to commit to the continuous learning and improvement of your leadership skills, and you want to set and pursue stretch goals.
• Proven success in building relationships with members of the media & industry influencers and in driving results for clients.
• Strong presentation skills and experience providing sound strategic counsel to clients and acting as day-to-day contact for clients.
• Ability to manage account finances, including large projects within a budget.

Who You Are:

• You have 5+ years of experience in PR; 1-2 years of Agency experience strongly preferred.
• Developing and executing communications plans that help achieve client goals is something that you find motivating.
• You are a dynamic and motivated individual who brings positive energy to your teams.
• You have mastered the art of prioritization while making sure nothing falls through the cracks, and you know when to ask for help or delegate.
• People comment on your leadership experience, and your ability to mentor and develop junior talent.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 USD.

An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
