The salary range reflected above is the normal hiring range for 2025. The full salary range, including longevity pay, is $24.45 - $35.61 per hour.

St. Louis County does not provide sponsorship for employment visas.An employee in this class performs information processing and constituent service tasks, assists with special projects, and provides administrative support to functions of the County Administrator and County Board members. Duties include supporting continuous improvement projects and County communications; processing correspondence; coordinating appointments and administrative schedules; gathering information on issues and concerns for administrative action; preparing materials for County Board meetings; reviewing and editing drafts of County Board letters; and responding to requests regarding County services. The work is performed under the direction of the County Administrator and assigned supervisory staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Pass/Fail):High school diploma or its equivalent.
Four (4) years full-time paid verifiable administrative experience; OR equivalent education and/or experience as determined by the Director of Human Resources and Administration.
Demonstrated ability to operate personal computer-based systems.
Proficiency in operating word processing software.
Ability to type from clear copy at a rate of 40 w.p.m./net.
Possession of a valid driver’s license.
