Job Description

Vaco Atlanta is excited to partner with an impressive client in Alpharetta, GA in their search for a Category Manager . This is a CONTRACT position with the potential to become permanent. Candidates to be considered must live in the Atlanta, GA metropolitan area as in-office work is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support strategic sourcing
• Manage supply market dynamics
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders
• Optimize cost savings, revenue enhancements and KPI monitoring
• Evaluate strategic suppliers
• Suggest process improvements
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree is REQUIRED
• 2+ years of Category management or procurement experience
• Must possess SRM experience - proficiency reading and negotiating contracts
• Must be proficient in Excel and PowerPoint. PowerBI experience is preferred.
• Must possess solid written and verbal communication skills
• Must possess strong attention to detail

With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting.
