Client

Our client is a small but growing, high-quality, FAA Part 145 certified aerospace MRO specializing in commercial and military aircraft component repair, generating approximately $5 million in annual revenue and positioned for strong growth through continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and customer satisfaction.

Summary

Seeking a dynamic, experienced, and hands-on Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organization and drive strategic growth. The CEO will have full Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility and will be accountable for the overall operational and financial performance of the business. This includes leadership across all functional areas: operations, safety, quality, delivery, sales, cost control, and team development. The ideal candidate is a results-driven leader with a passion for excellence, customer focus, and a strong background in aerospace MRO.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to achieve business objectives, growth targets, and operational excellence.
  • Drive a culture of safety, quality, and compliance in line with FAA Part 145 regulations and industry best practices.
  • Own and manage full P&L; ensure revenue targets and margin goals are met or exceeded.
  • Oversee all functional areas: operations, quality assurance, engineering, sales, finance, and human resources.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing cross-functional team; instill accountability, ownership, and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Foster strong customer relationships and ensure a customer-first approach in all aspects of the business.
  • Implement Lean/Continuous Improvement strategies to optimize operational efficiency and reduce cost.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and environmental requirements.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to support growth and market expansion.

Education, Skills, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Aerospace, or a related field is a plus but not required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in aerospace, MRO, or a highly regulated manufacturing/repair environment.
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role with full P&L accountability.
  • Deep understanding of FAA Part 145 operations and quality systems preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving operational performance, cost control, and customer satisfaction.
  • Experience implementing continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
