Overview of Responsibilities:
As our CFO, you will:
Prepare and oversee the creation of all financial statements, including corporate budgets, income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and reports for governmental agencies.
Maintain accurate financial ledgers, including cash disbursements, cash receipts, accounts payable, payroll summaries, accounts receivable summaries, and necessary journal entries to adjust the general ledger.
Perform monthly reconciliations, such as cash, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow reports, while also conducting balance sheet audits.
Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with executive and operational teams.
Monitor company cash flow and financial needs on a weekly basis.
Establish and uphold a series of financial controls and procedures within the accounting department.
Organize monthly financial statements to ensure a smooth audit process, managing the relationship with our corporate accounting firm.
Drive continuous process improvement by collaborating with the CEO and other executives to identify efficiencies, including the integration of software systems.
Analyze long-term economic trends and their potential impacts on sales growth and market share.
Work with the CEO to explore opportunities for geographical expansion.
Manage funds and collaborate with the Board of Directors to secure additional capital for growth initiatives.
You Are the Right Fit If You Have:
A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
A minimum of 10 years of accounting experience or a relevant master's degree with at least 5 years of accounting experience.
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
Experience in the healthcare industry; home health experience is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a preference for experience in Sage Intacct accounting software.
Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
