- Oversee the company's financial/ERP system.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting; CPA preferred.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in a similar financial executive leadership role, well beyond basic A/R, A/P, and general bookkeeping.

- Strong understanding of advanced accounting, regulatory issues, and tax planning.

- Exceptional MS Excel skills, including financial modeling, Business Intelligence (BI), and analytics.

- Excellent leadership skills with steadfast resolve.

- Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills.

- Strong applied knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

- Experience in developing and streamlining processes and applying systems.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working within the seafood industry or other food processing industries is a plus.

Key Outcomes

1. Develop and implement robust financial strategies and processes to support our company's growth and sustainability goals.

2. Optimize our financial performance through effective cost management, revenue enhancement initiatives, and streamlined operations.

3. Establish strong financial controls and reporting systems to ensure transparency, accountability, and compliance.

Impact in One Year

In your first year, you will have significantly improved our financial processes, implemented data-driven decision-making across the organization, and positioned Kanaloa Seafood for sustainable growth and profitability in the competitive seafood industry.

Our Values

- Customer Obsession: We prioritize understanding and meeting the needs of our customers, both consumers and suppliers.
