At Exceptional Healthcare, we're revolutionizing healthcare delivery with our micro-hospital concept. We're opening a brand-new facility in Eloy, AZ, in September 2025 , and we need a dynamic nursing leader to build and lead our clinical team from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to shape the culture, processes, and team in a smaller, more nimble healthcare environment designed to bring quality care to an underserved community.

What You'll Be Asked to Do:

As our new Eloy facility's Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), you'll be instrumental in launching our clinical operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building and leading the entire clinical team for our new 20-bed facility (10 ER beds, 10 inpatient beds)
  • Establishing nursing standards, protocols, and workflows from day one
  • Implementing staffing plans for all clinical areas, including ancillary services
  • Managing the operational budget for nursing and clinical services
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements during the facility launch
  • Collaborating closely with leadership to create an exceptional patient experience
  • Overseeing quality initiatives and continuous improvement processes
  • Serving as the clinical leader in our community engagement efforts
  • Selecting and developing your own team of leaders to pioneer our new facility

What You Need to Be Successful:

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

  • A bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) is required
  • 4+ years of nursing leadership experience in a hospital setting
  • Experience with facility openings or major expansions is highly desired
  • Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Room or hospital setting
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build teams in challenging talent markets
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort with a fast-paced startup environment
  • Adaptability and resourcefulness to succeed in a smaller healthcare setting
