Job Summary

The Data Analyst is responsible for utilizing technical expertise to ensure that data is accurate and of high quality. Analyze, design, and determine the most effective way to visually present data to managers and stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Utilize technical skills to improve data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize business operations and data quality.

· Apply technical skills to review, analyze, and modify programming systems to support and improve application systems.

· Create new reports and modify existing ones using SSRS or SQL.

· Database maintenance, including SQL jobs, SSIS, and database performance.

· Performs a variety of tasks:

• Work with the data files sent by clients in a timely manner and merge the information into our systems.
• Review the data files from new clients, providing client feedback with the goal of successfully importing accurate data into our systems.
• Write scripts/packages needed for the maintenance of the database.
• Run ad hoc reports for internal and client use.
• Verify the accuracy of reports and provide insights.
• Review any client issues to determine the best solution to resolve the issue expeditiously.
• Assist department staff with production tasks and issues.

· Assists in documenting new or revised procedures as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, information management, or related field.

· 5+ years of experience with Python or tools specifically designed for flat file manipulation.

· 5+ years of experience with SQL

· Experience using Regular Expressions.

· Experience with .NET technologies and C#.

· Great documentation skills
