Responsibilities

As a Design Gallery Manager, you will be the welcoming face and administrative anchor of our showroom. Your responsibilities will include:

• Greeting customers and providing a warm and welcoming environment.
• Conducting showroom appointments, assisting customers in selecting window coverings by showing options, explaining features and benefits.
• Providing estimates or quotes for selected products.
• Answering incoming phone calls and scheduling appointments.
• Monitoring and responding to all inbound messages from our lead generation tools
• Scheduling in-home consultations with our design team for customers.
• Reviewing and proofing orders for accuracy before submitting them to the manufacturer. 
• Updating our CRM with customer and order information.
• Managing repair requests, appointments, and manufacturer repair orders.
• Participating in continued training and education.
• Managing the Design Gallery administrative and operational functions.

Desired experience in at least one of these areas: Showroom Sales, Showroom Management, Sales in Window Fashion, Outside Sales, Retail Experience, or a Proven Track Record of Exceeding Sales Goals.

Technical skills include

• Must be comfortable using technology since we are 100% online and store all out of data in the cloud
• Experience using Microsoft Windows or Chrome Desktop
• Experience with Apple iPad is a plus
• Familiarity using and making spreadsheets (Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel)
• Familiarity using and making word processor documents (Google Docs or Microsoft Word)
• Experience using email and calendar programs (Google Gmail & Google Calendar or similar)

Desirable Skills but not required

• Customer Relationship Management (CRM) program like Salesforce, Hubspot, or Zoho
• Using a quote and order generation program
• Graphic Design Program like Canva or Microsoft Studio
• Online cloud-based file management system like Google Drive, Dropbox, or Box
