Overview

Security Management Resources® is seeking candidates for the senior-most intelligence role for our client. The role is based in the Pacific Northwest and is responsible for leading a team of intelligence managers supporting a private family office. This is an outstanding opportunity for a professional who has extensive experience in the development of intelligence and the production of accurate threat assessments. The ideal candidate’s background will also include experience managing teams in both the public and private sectors domestically and internationally. There is a strong preference for someone with federal agency experience. A comprehensive benefits package, including relocation, is on offer for this prestigious new role.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team chartered with global general, protective, and due diligence intelligence.

• Define standards and design sourcing protocols for the collection, analysis, and dissemination of timely and relevant intelligence and predictive threat analyses.

• Guide the identification and tracking of global security events of significance to the enterprise.

• Exploit security and intelligence opportunities and improvement, taking part in the identification of suitable intelligence technology, equipment, and services.

• Produce strategic and tactical threat assessments and implement regular intelligence briefings to principals and team members.

• Develop strong relationships with government and private sector intelligence sources in major global markets.

Education, Experience, Skills, and Competencies

• An academic degree in a relevant field with a commitment to professional development for direct reports, others, and yourself.

• Previous experience in an intelligence-related role within a federal agency.

• Experience directing people and programs in both public and private sector entities.

• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and foster trust, respect, and dependability.

• Superior global intelligence gathering and analytical skills and competencies.

• Excellent research and analysis skills in situations, possibly under extremely tight deadlines.

• Hands-on approach with the ability to collaborate effectively with a closely-knit team of security professionals.

• Potential for international travel, sometimes on short notice.
