Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of Electrical Engineering experience in design and development with 3+ years of experience of leading and/or managing a team of engineers
• Experience with Analog and Digital circuit design principles
• Experience with High Power switching electronics and magnetics for driving capacitive loads
• Experience with embedded system design including A/D and D/A signal processing
• Experience with PSPICE or other modeling software
• Experience with Embedded Microprocessor Development, Design and Software tools
• Knowledge of analog and digital design rules for printed circuit board layout
• Proficiency in the following computer/software packages including Altium Designer, SPICE, Windchill, and Microsoft Office

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer Manager to join our clients team in Newtown, CT. This client is an ultrasonic technology design and manufacturer. This person with be overseeing a team of Electrical Engineers as well as overseeing the design, development and implementations of various projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of engineers, provide guidance, mentorship, and provide feedback to ensure optimal productivity and growth
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of various engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Innovative Ultrasonic Generator designs that meet cost targets and market requirements
• Design and develop electrical systems to drive piezoelectric converters/transducers
• • Provides Systems Engineering design and analysis.
• Creates electrical and system models, schematics, printed circuit board layouts, and assembly drawings from sketches, notes, or customer supplied models
• Implement and maintain engineering best practices, standards, and procedures to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the engineering department

Compensation:

$150,000 to $200,000 per year annual salary.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
