Eastman Kodak is seeking an innovative and motivated Graduate student for our Electro-Chemistry Internship. We are looking for someone who is passionate about batteries, including, but not limited to Li-ion. This is a minimum 10-week program. Our team is particularly interested in new technologies related to Na-ion, solid state batteries, sulfur batteries, silicone anode batteries, flow batteries, among others. The ideal candidate should have a strong educational background in electrochemistry, excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced research environment. Preference will be given to graduate students that have completed at least two years of graduate research in battery technologies. Responsibilities: •The graduate intern will gain experience in industrial research and will be able to collaborate with process engineers to scale-up laboratory formulations that achieve desired performance. •To propose and carry new research plans in selected areas of battery technologies •Provide electrochemistry support as needed under the direction of her or his mentor. •To discuss procedures to be followed, conduct experiments adhering to safety protocols, document experiment observations, and characterization results. Education and Experience Requirements: • Must be currently enrolled in a College Graduate Program. • Completed at least two years of research in battery technologies. • Prior industry experience is preferred.
