Field Manager - Rugged Mobility & AV Projects

Location: Onsite Travel to Project Locations | Austin, TX 78758

Job Type: Direct Hire

Salary: $72,000 annually

Background Requirements: Must pass a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) background check and pre-employment screenings upon hire.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and technical guidance to field teams deploying rugged mobility and AV installations.
  • Monitor and validate project execution to meet technical specifications and customer expectations.
  • Prepare and maintain budgets, task timelines, and ensure financial compliance.
  • Deliver hands-on training for managers, team leads, and technicians to ensure consistent project execution.
  • Document and report project progress (e.g., End of Day Reports, asset reports).
  • Address escalations and troubleshoot concerns impacting timelines or operational integrity.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in rugged mobility, installation, and low voltage.
  • Experience in AV, or desktop installation preferred.
  • Knowledge and troubleshooting of CradlePoint.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • This role offers a direct path for growth in AV and rugged mobility projects, ensuring hands-on expertise and leadership opportunities in a dynamic field.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of standing and working on equipment.
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the facility's workspace.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to use a ladder.

Other Requirements:

  • Must pass a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) background check and pre-employment screenings upon hire. Must pass an MVR upon hire.
  • License Requirements: Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
  • Must complete a 90 day probationary period.

Work Environment:

  • Must be well-groomed and presentable for a business environment
