Job Description

This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive professional to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. NOTE: 1099 experience is required

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze financial reports; perform accurate bank and account reconciliations
  • Maintain general ledger entries and ensure proper recording of all financial transactions
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Oversee payroll processing, including tax filings and deposits on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Business tax experience (1099s) is required
  • Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by leadership
  • Assist with income tax return preparation, if needed

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of full-charge bookkeeping experience
  • Proficient in QuickBooks (Desktop and Online)
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Thomson Reuters software is a plus
