Graphic Production Artist (Contract)

Location: Columbus, OH (Onsite)

Contract Length: 3 months

Pay Rate: $40–$48/hour (W2, depending on experience)

Start Date: ASAP

Schedule: Full-time, standard business hours

Russell Tobin & Associates is currently supporting a well-known retail brand in their search for a Graphic Production Artist for a 3-month W2 contract. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented designer who thrives in fast-paced, high-volume environments and is passionate about the production process.

About the Role

As a Graphic Production Artist, you will execute production design and art release work across multiple channels, ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery of final assets. You’ll collaborate closely with a dynamic Production Design team and will play a key role in supporting design execution from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Meet assigned deadlines without compromising accuracy or quality.
• Execute production and iteration of creative assets under guidance of the Production Design team.
• Manage and organize project files, creative assets, and design deliverables.
• Insert retouched imagery into design files as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies in provided files.
• Create alternate versions and iterations of design assets based on direction.
• Review in-progress work with team members for feedback and alignment.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure final deliverables meet brand standards.
• Package and release final files to internal and external teams.
• Archive released files according to standard procedures.
• Maintain proper metadata and tagging for creative assets.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience in a fast-paced corporate or design environment; previous production artist or similar experience a plus.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong attention to detail with excellent time management and organization skills.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Experience with versioning and file prep in a production setting preferred.
