Job Title: Image Quality Engineer

About the Role:

We’re looking for an Image Quality Engineer to join our team of scientists and engineers. In this role, you'll use special software tools to simulate and test how well display systems (like screens or cameras) work in new products and prototypes. Your analysis will help improve the overall performance and user experience of these products.

What You’ll Do:

• Use software to simulate and predict how well display systems will perform
• Review and report on your simulation results to help set product standards
• Work closely with other researchers and engineers to improve system design and create better visual experiences

What We’re Looking For (Must-Have Skills):

You should be familiar with some of the following areas:

• Types of display technologies (like OLED, LCD, microLED, etc.)
• How displays are measured, tested, and calibrated
• Image processing concepts (like digital filters, color adjustments, and visual quality metrics)
• Basic camera and display system architecture
• Tools like MATLAB for running simulations and data analysis
• A degree in Engineering, Physics, Optics, Computer Science, or a similar field

Nice to Have (Preferred Qualifications):

• A Master’s or PhD in Optical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related area
• 5+ years of experience working on advanced display or camera systems
• Experience with image algorithms, signal processing, or optical research
