An employer is searching for a Technical Project Manager close to the Lanham, MD and Annapolis, MD areas to support a large healthcare system. The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for supporting major Telephony, Networking and Wireless upgrade projects concurrently. It is extremely important that this person is highly detailed, organized and has strong documentation skills to ensure tight project tracking to hit key performance indicators as set by Information Systems and Technology leadership. Experience working with the deployment of Zebra handsets, use of Cisco Call Manager and a strong understanding of 802.11 is important as it relates to current and upcoming projects. This position is 50% remote and will spend the other 50% of the time supporting major medical centers in Annapolis, MD and Lanham, MD.

Must Haves:

• Bachelor’s degree in information system, information technology or a relevant field
• Strong experience, at least 5-7 years, working as a project manager overseeing multiple networking, wireless and or telephony projects concurrently.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills to ensure project tracking and project milestones hit.
• Experience managing a Cisco UCM implementation project at an enterprise level.
• Prior experience overseeing a project deploying Zebra devices to an enterprise organization.

• Holds active CCNA, CCNP or CCIE
