Position: Insurance Collector

Location: Sarasota, FL 34236

Duration: 6 month contract to hire

PR: $17-23/hr

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: M-F, flex schedule - start between 7 and 830 with 30 minute lunch and an 8 hour day

Int Process: Managerial interview followed by peer int (30 minute each, same day)

Must Haves:

• High School Diploma/GED
• 2+ years of experience in a healthcare, insurance or customer service environment
• Exp working with managed care payers (Aetna, Blue Cross, UHC, etc.).

Plusses:

• Prefer two (2) years of experience working with Third Party Billing and Collections.
• Prefer Certified Patient Account Technician (CPAT) or Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS).
• Prefer the ability to review and update both patient and insurance information in the computer system.
• Prefer the ability to read and understand insurance remittances, calculate patient responsibility and understands coordination of benefit rules.

Day to Day:

Insight Global is looking for a candidate that can collaborate with third-party payers to ensure timely receipt, processing, and payment of outstanding accounts receivable, while maintaining high productivity and quality standards. Resolves issues with pended, rejected, and partially denied claims. Stays informed and compliant with all managed care contracts and third-party relations for designated payers. Monitors and analyzes escalated payer concerns. Manages all correspondence and communications professionally and promptly. Enters data to meet department-specific quality assurance measures and provides feedback to other departments and insurance companies. Supports departmental operations by performing additional duties as assigned. Updates and annotates accounts for clear interpretation by end users. Delivers exceptional customer service in all interactions.
