6 month contract role; onsite in McLean, VA
• Implementing the elements of a best-in-class Ethics program
• Providing oversight to ensure compliance risk related to Governmental and Conservator obligations, laws and regulations are identified, addressed and mitigated
• Reviewing Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSAs) to understand how process, risk and controls are impacting first line compliance with obligations
• Providing advisory services, and effective challenge to first line on risks that could impact the company
• Investigate internal allegations and complaints of violations of company policy or applicable law. Activities will include interviewing witnesses, gathering and reviewing relevant documents, analyzing and synthesizing the information gathered to determine the facts, assessing witness credibility, preparing a concise investigation report, making recommendations to management for remedial action, updating the case tracking system and assisting with reporting and analytics.
Qualifications:
• College degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant employee relations experience
• Proven workplace investigations skills
• Demonstrated ability to influence
• Proven to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels across the enterprise
• Keen attention to detail, sound judgment, tact, and diplomacy
• Intellectually curious and innovative problem solver
• Proven ability to exercise the utmost discretion and preserve confidentiality
