Job Description

Russell Tobin's client, a leading national financial institution is seeking an International Banking Specialist. This is a hybrid role and is a 6+ months contract with potential for extension.

Job Title: International Banking Specialist

Location: Portland, OR 97230

Hybrid Role: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM PT, Monday-Friday)

Pay range: $23.00/hr - $25.00/hr.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in wire investigation cases, including tracking wires, investigating transfers, and making corrections.
• Manage caseloads independently, running necessary entries, and communicating with clients as needed.
• Review and sign off on SWIFT messages for assigned cases.
• Regularly connect with customers via phone for case updates.
• Attend team meetings and collaborate with team members.
• Meet performance goals (200-300 cases per month) after initial training period.
• Operate multiple systems efficiently and multitask to meet deadlines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic proficiency in Outlook and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational skills and detail orientation.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic 10-Key and data entry experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Swift and/or wire experience (a plus but not required).
• QA or data entry experience.
• Experience with Hogan, NSP/Copestar, or similar systems is a plus.
• Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
