Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Marketing Associate to play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of our marketing strategies. This position will primarily focus on assisting with the planning, execution, and promotion of various events, both in-person and virtual. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual with a passion for marketing and excellent organizational skills, capable of contributing to a dynamic team environment. You will gain valuable experience in event management, digital marketing, and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning and Execution: Assist in the end-to-end planning and organization of in-person and virtual events, including logistical support such as setup, registration, and event flow management. Create and manage event-related communications, including invitations, guest lists, and outreach campaigns. May involve on-site responsibilities like booth setup, display maintenance, and engaging with event attendees.
  • Marketing Support: Contribute to our social media presence by assisting with content creation and scheduling across various platforms. Support email marketing initiatives through list building, email design, and performance analysis. Aid in the development and coordination of marketing materials for events, promotions, and product launches.
  • Customer Engagement: Serve as a friendly and informative point of contact for potential customers at events, addressing inquiries and collecting valuable information. May involve scheduling follow-up appointments for our sales or design teams.
  • Data and Analytics: Support the monitoring and reporting of key marketing analytics to assess campaign effectiveness. Assist with data analysis and the creation of performance reports.
  • Administrative Tasks: Proficiently utilize Google Suite, with a strong emphasis on managing desktop and mobile Google Calendar for scheduling and coordination.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic understanding of fundamental marketing principles and strategies.
  • Familiarity with various social media platforms and email marketing tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as a collaborative team member.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • A proactive attitude with a strong ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving priorities.

Compensation:

This is a part-time position with competitive hourly compensation. Additional commission-based compensation will be considered for highly motivated candidates who demonstrate strong performance and a willingness to obtain relevant industry licensing.

$15-$25/hourly
