WHO YOU ARE

Mondee has a current opening for an Office Assistant to help with daily office activities. This position is based on-site in Austin, TX.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor office and kitchen supplies and research advantageous deals or suppliers.
  • Ensure the kitchen is appropriately stocked with snacks, water, coffee, soft drinks, plates and utensils.
  • Order lunch daily for office staff and occasionally for special meetings. This will be done mostly by delivery, but there may be occasions when you will be required to pick it up if delivery isn’t available.
  • Ensure the kitchen area is clean and tidy.
  • Keep office supplies and technical items such as cords and chargers appropriately stocked.
  • Greet guests and escort them to the designated conference room and notify the appropriate executive(s) upon their arrival. Ensure the conference room is clean, tidy and stocked with water prior to the meeting.
  • Plan and coordinate office celebrations and holidays.
  • Manage any facilities issues with office and be a liaison between us and building management.
  • Receive packages and distribute.
  • Process incoming mail.
  • Order business cards as needed.
  • Assist with computer set up for new hires via telephone with IT.
  • Serve as liaison for HR and IT in coordinating technical needs.
  • Assist with travel arrangements for guests and employees visiting the Austin office.
  • General administrative and clerical duties as needed.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • One (1) year of experience in an administrative or clerical capacity
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
  • Strong planning and time management skills
  • Experience working in Google and Microsoft Office with intermediate Excel skills
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Experience supporting an HR Department a plus
