Job Description

A global automotive parts manufacturing company is looking for a motivated Sales Account Manager in Novi, MI location.

The ideal candidate would have at least of 3-5 years of B2B sales experience in automotive parts manufacturing company.

Sales Account Manager Responsibilities:

• Establish relations with new and previous customers

• New business development with OEMs and Tier Suppliers

• Promote automotive bearing products and company itself

• Intelligently communicate with clients

• Travel to customer locations and prepare reports and compile data

• Make presentations to and attend meetings with client managers and engineers.

• Understand specifications for products for customer design assistance

• Create data, budgets, and reports regarding sales and marketing activity.

• Other Duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management.

Sales Account Manager Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering or related background is preferred

• Minimum 3 year of sales experience or customer support experience in automotive

industry

• Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time

• Must have excellent presentation skills

• Must have knowledge or direct hands-on experience with bearings parts

• Experience with working in a Japanese related environment is a plus

• Some engineering knowledge or technical support experience is a plus

• This position will not support visa sponsorships

• This position includes manufacturing and office work environment. While performing the

duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25

pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or

feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist,

talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision,

depth perception, and peripheral vision.
