Job Description

Senior Product Manager

About Avante

Avante is located in Seattle, WA, with an in-office culture requiring 4 days per week on-site. We're on a mission to untangle the mess of healthcare and benefits for employees - and the HR teams who support them. Our platform fuses generative AI with practical, high-stakes workflows to help employees make smarter health decisions, save money, and actually use the benefits their companies work hard to provide.

We're growing fast and are looking for a Senior Product Manager with a strong growth mindset. You've shipped real product that drives both business value and user engagement. You know what it's like to go deep with engineers and build in partnership with design, all while obsessing over metrics that matter. You understand enterprise software - but more importantly, enterprise consumer software - where the end user and the buyer aren't the same, stakeholder management is half the game, and creating sustainable growth loops is what separates good products from great ones.

If you're strategic, execution-obsessed, deeply curious about customer problems, and have a passion for building product flywheels that drive organic adoption and retention, we want to meet you.

The Role: Senior Product Manager

We're growing fast and are looking for a driven, collaborative Senior Product Manager with growth expertise who's passionate about shaping the future of enterprise HR and benefits intelligence through thoughtful AI integration. This is a unique opportunity to help build the first truly AI-native products in a space that's ripe for innovation, while developing engagement strategies that drive meaningful adoption and usage. As part of our fast-moving, collaborative team, your talents and expertise will help shape products that not only transform how employers and employees interact with benefits, but also create self-reinforcing loops that encourage sustained engagement and value realization.

The role combines the challenge of building truly innovative solutions with the fulfillment of addressing real customer needs and driving measurable growth. You'll work across the company to translate insights into valuable features while thoughtfully designing product experiences that convert, engage, and retain users. This position is ideal for someone who values both creativity and execution, thrives in ambiguous, fast-paced environments, and brings a data-informed approach to product development.

What You'll Do

  • Ship meaningful work, fast. You're not bogged down by process for process's sake. You know when to write a PRD, and when to just have a conversation or a whiteboard session. You're pragmatic, collaborative, and love winning as a team.
  • Drive real outcomes. You'll work tightly with engineering, design, and go-to-market to deliver product features that drive business goals, delight customers, increase engagement, and keep end users coming back.
  • Design for growth. You'll identify opportunities to build product flywheels and growth loops that reduce friction, accelerate adoption, and create habitual usage patterns.
  • Be data-driven. You'll define and track key engagement metrics, analyze user behavior patterns, and use these insights to inform product decisions that improve activation, retention, and expansion.
  • Be a voice of the customer. You'll talk to users and stakeholders weekly, dive into the data to find trends and opportunities, and deeply understand the ways in which our product is working for them - and how it's not.
  • Champion our culture. You'll help shape how we build, collaborate, and scale - not just the product, but the company.

What We're Looking For

  • Demonstrated success shipping products in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience building B2B SaaS products with consumer-like expectations, and implementing strategies for driving end-user engagement and adoption
  • Strong track record of using data to inform product decisions and measure impact
  • Experience designing and optimizing user journeys to increase conversion, retention, and overall engagement
  • Proven ability to gather, synthesize, and act on customer feedback
  • Demonstrated skill in navigating ambiguity and creating clarity for teams
  • Track record of versatility and willingness to take on diverse responsibilities as needed
  • Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have

  • Experience designing product flywheels and viral growth mechanisms
  • Familiarity with engagement metrics and frameworks for measuring product stickiness
  • Experience in HR tech, benefits administration, or similar domains
  • Early-stage startup experience
  • Have implemented AI-powered features or products
  • Experience with UI/UX design contributions or collaboration

Our Company Values

At Avante, our culture is defined by four core values:

Beat Yesterday : We're relentlessly committed to improvement, challenging ourselves to exceed our previous best and redefine what's possible. Every day is a fresh opportunity to innovate, grow, and push boundaries.

Embrace Type 2 Fun : We acknowledge that startup life is challenging, but deeply rewarding. We approach difficult moments with resilience, positivity, and empathy for our teammates, finding meaning and even joy in the climb.

Act Like an Owner : We take initiative beyond job descriptions, solving problems rather than just pointing them out. We navigate ambiguity by focusing on broader business goals and hold ourselves accountable with kindness and candor. Our commitment extends beyond shipping code - we own outcomes.

Stay Hungry, Stay Curious : We reject "that's how it's always been done" thinking in favor of radical innovation. We approach our mission with humility and endless curiosity, believing we can create meaningful impact. We ask the questions others are only thinking.
