Job Description:

  • Advises, consults and coordinates service projects such as developing the addition, expansion or extension of an existing facility; or renovation/alterations to a facility in collaboration with project team.
  • Develops assignments, timetables and responsibilities for team members for the duration of the project.
  • Organizes and ensures that materials and equipment resources are delivered on time.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for quality projects being built on time and within budget. Ensures scope/change orders are processed and incorporated into the current scope of work in a timely
  • Meets with clients and establishes their requirements.
  • Reviews plans, specifications, submittals and other contract documents to create a job plan for the successful completion of assigned projects.
  • Provides regular detailed reporting and metrics to upper management on existing projects that provides periodic status and end of contract cost and budget
  • Conducts pre-job planning with proper parties, ensures all action items are completed. Develops and keeps all project schedules current.
  • Establishes and executes subcontracts and equipment buy-outs to support schedules and
  • Represents company and project details in meetings with client, subcontractors, etc.
  • Communicates all project issues to the appropriate level of management in a timely
  • Assembles the estimate for the project and reviews with field supervisor, effective manpower planning for future projects, including direction of specialty subcontractors.
  • Prepares and submits monthly contract billings to ensure proper cash flow during contract
  • Manages conflict resolution with customers, vendors, trades or
  • Identifies and develops policies and procedures for continuous aggressive
  • Visits job sites or onsite offices, performs work inspections, checks job progress, and resolves project and contract
  • Responsible for keeping the Warranty Log up to date

Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum education preferred of the position

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Sciences, Mechanical Engineering or similar engineering degree is preferred or equivalent experience.

Minimum experience preferred of the position

  • 5+ years

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities preferred of the position

  • Excellent Organization skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities, as necessary.
  • Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude
  • Ability to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others.
  • Tactful and has professional demeanor, and ability to interact effectively with managers, partners, vendors and others.
