DRMTLGY is a science-backed skincare company dedicated to the art of formulation and the science of skin. DRMTLGY is looking for a Social Media Manager with a strong focus on content creation . If you're creative, confident on camera, and love staying on top of social trends, this role is for you.

This is a content-heavy role. You’ll be responsible for regularly filming, producing, editing, and often starring in short-form videos that bring the DRMTLGY brand to life across TikTok, Instagram, and beyond. You’ll collaborate with other team members in-office to create compelling content and turn product education, trending moments, and creative concepts into high-performing posts. You’ll also engage with our community by responding to comments and DMs in brand voice to foster conversation and boost engagement.

This role sits on the Brand team and works closely with our Creative and Growth teams to ensure social content supports broader brand and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Film, produce, and edit short-form video content (primarily TikTok, YT shorts and Instagram Reels)
  • Appear on camera regularly and collaborate with other team members in-office during filming
  • Brainstorm and pitch trend-driven content ideas aligned with brand voice and goals
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the Creative and Growth teams to execute social content
  • Stay on top of social trends, viral sounds, and platform updates
  • Respond to comments and DMs across platforms using the DRMTLGY brand voice
  • Support day-to-day social media operations and content execution
  • Develop and execute social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our platforms
  • Plan photoshoots and content creation with partners or internally, manage post-production editing, and maintain a library of digital assets
  • Monitor social media trends, competitor activities, and audience feedback to inform content strategies
  • Proactively comment on high performing social posts in the wild to build followers and increase brand awareness 
  • Craft and execute social strategies for Pinterest, Snapchat and Threads.

  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of or a strong interest in beauty and skincare and enjoys creating educational and fun content
  • Feels confident managing community engagement and conversation across platforms
  • Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) or equivalent tools preferred

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in social media, content creation, marketing design, or related roles within DTC/eCommerce, retail, skincare
  • Must be based in Los Angeles, CA
  • Must be able to travel to our Canoga Park office 1–2 times per week
  • Experience creating, filming, and editing short-form content (personal or professional)
  • Comfortable using basic video editing tools/apps 
  • Strong communication skills for engaging with the community in brand voice
