Ocean Drive Studio, Inc. is an independent game development studio based in South Korea with vision of creating highly engaging games with creative game designs on all platforms. Ocean Drive Games, Inc is the global HQ for providing global service for all the games developed by Ocean Drive Studio. We are in the process of establishing a studio in the States and looking for the talents who are willing to go through the journey of creating a true community-focused game service organization together.

Role Description

As our Social Media Manager, you’ll share Ocean Drive Studio’s games with our current and future fans, bringing attention not just to our products but also our people and development process. Your passion for gaming and commitment to building a strong social presence will help us grow and nurture a vibrant community. Your work will directly shape our global success, as community engagement is at the heart of everything we do.

Core Job Responsibilities

• Manage and grow the studio’s owned social media channels (YouTube, X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok)
• Create and maintain a social media calendar aligned with product milestones, community interests, and gaming trends
• Develop and maintain relationships with content creators relevant to our games.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and manage day-to-day social media operations to ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms
• Serve as the main Community Manager for assigned games, engaging directly with the community on platforms like Discord and Reddit.
• Prepare weekly community reports, summarizing feedback, insights, and recommendations, as well as KPI analysis
• Maintain and update documentation, including creator database, tool guides, and best practices

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in social media or digital marketing, preferably in video game industry or related field
• Demonstrated success in growing key metrics such as follower count, engagement rate, and CTR
• Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills
• Strong communication skills
• Proven experience in developing Content Strategy
• Experience with social media analytics and tools
• Deep understanding of gaming communities, culture, and various game genres
• Familiarity with emerging social media trends and gaming-related content formats
• Experience with social media management platforms (e.g., Hootsuite), creator platforms like (e.g., Keymailer), and work management tools (e.g., Jira)
• Proficiency in writing engaging content and light video editing is a plus
• Strong organizational, time-management, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to adapt strategies based on community feedback and shifting gaming trends
• Professional and mature demeanor along with strong time-management and organization skills for coordinating multiple initiatives and priorities
• Video content creation experience is a plus (YouTube, Twitch, Instagram, TikTok)
