Position Overview:
As a Senior Sourcing Lead, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing the Commodity Strategy for Cast & Machine categories, ensuring alignment with Polaris' overall Sourcing and supply chain objectives. You will be responsible for managing supplier performance across quality, delivery, cost, and new product integration, driving strategic Sourcing initiatives, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve company goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a multi-year Commodity Strategy aligned with Polaris' purchasing goals, supply chain strategy, and macroeconomic landscape.
- Provide leadership and guidance (in concert with the Manager) to a team of approximately 4 Sourcing professionals, fostering a culture of transparency, learning, and development.
- Drive supplier performance, ensuring all partners meet Polaris' standards for quality, delivery, cost competitiveness, and new product integration.
- Lead the development and execution of supplier agreements and long-term contracts (LTAs) to secure stable and cost-effective supply chains.
- Identify, onboard, and manage supplier relationships, ensuring alignment with Polaris' strategic Sourcing objectives.
- Lead cost reduction initiatives through fact-based negotiations, should-cost modeling, and competitive market analysis.
- Oversee RFx processes, ensuring strategic supplier selection and maintaining a robust RFx matrix for the Cast & Machine categories.
- Coordinate supplier exits, tool transitions, and cost optimization projects, ensuring seamless implementation with minimal operational disruption.
- Support supplier quality functions by identifying root causes of quality issues and driving corrective actions.
- Present Sourcing strategies, supplier performance updates, and cost-saving initiatives to executive leadership.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 6+ years of supply chain experience, with a strong focus on strategic Sourcing.
- Experience mentoring or leading others in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to present and influence executive leadership with strategic Sourcing insights.
- Strong ability to identify risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
- Expertise in negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving, with a track record of driving cost savings.
- High proficiency in supply contracts (domestic & international), engineering documentation, and commodity market analysis.
- Effective time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced, hybrid office environment with opportunities for cross-functional collaboration. 3 days in the office, 2 days of flex.
- Up to 15% travel required (domestic and international, primarily in Europe and Southeast Asia).
**The pay range for Minnesota is $82,000 to $108,000 per year. Individual salaries are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.**
