What you will do:

• Participate in discussions and collaborate with the development team and product/program managers to establish test strategies, evaluating the impact of product releases or versions.

• Review specifications and requirements thoroughly, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of features, and develop precise test cases while adjusting test plans accordingly.

• Develop, implement, and execute functional, stress, and longevity tests comprehensively, considering end-to-end perspectives.

• Identify, document, and monitor software defects, closely liaising with the development team to ensure prompt resolution.

• Utilize advanced diagnostic and measurement tools such as Octobox, ixia, iperf, CD Router, Wireshark, etc.

• Deliver clear defect definitions and reports to avoid misunderstandings and streamline the resolution process effectively.

• Guide the automation team in enhancing automation coverage by generating appropriate test automation development requests.

• Ensure timely delivery of essential QA facilities, including detailed Test Reports and Issue Analysis.

• Ensure product deployments meet specified scope and quality standards.

• Oversee and maintain test houses and Wi-Fi labs.

• Prepare and deliver executive-level reports.

• Act as a representative of Airties in customer-facing interactions.

What you should ideally bring:

• MS/BS degree in Computer, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or related field.

• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Austin, Texas or surrounding areas.

• Ability to represent the company's QA department in front of major U.S. internet service provider clients.

• Willingness and ability to work occasionally during business hours overlapping with the Turkish time zone.

• Capability to manage the technical infrastructure, inventory, and operational aspects of the test houses.

• Proficiency in test methodologies with a minimum of 5 years' experience in developing and executing comprehensive end-to-end software testing strategies. ISTQB certification is a plus.

• Strong networking background encompassing TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, AWS, LAN/WAN, with a solid grasp of key networking protocols (e.g., IEEE 802.11ac/ax/be, TR-398). CCNA and CWNA Certification is advantageous.

• Proficiency in basic scripting languages such as Python & Bash, along with experience in Linux,

• Postman, Soap UI, and software testing methodologies.

• Experience in Mobile Application Testing.

• Willing to learn new technologies

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional scrum teams.

• Proficient in Software Test Management tools like Jira, Xray, Confluence.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with excellent teamwork skills.

• Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the test team, offering training and support as required.

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to prioritize testing initiatives, address issues, and ensure alignment with project objectives.

• Fluent in both verbal and written communication in English.
