HR Talent Acquisition Specialist

Location: Dallas, TX 75252 (On-Site)

Pay: $50,000-$65,000K

About The Job:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive HR Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our fast-growing startup. As we grow, the role of our People and HR department becomes ever more crucial. We are seeking an HR Talent Acquisition Specialist to bring organization, efficiency, and support to our Director of People and HR. This role is not just about managing schedules and tasks; it's about being the cornerstone on which effective human resource management is built. In this role, you will be instrumental in fostering a nurturing, productive work environment, directly impacting our team's well-being and the company's culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries, directing them to relevant team members or addressing them directly.
  • Manage and coordinate HR projects and initiatives, ensuring timely execution and follow-up.
  • Support the director in developing and implementing HR strategies and policies.
  • Assist in the organization and maintenance of employee records, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
  • Coordinate recruitment processes, including sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, liaising with candidates, and preparing interview materials.
  • Recruit candidates by actively sourcing through various platforms, including job boards and LinkedIn.
  • Conduct interviews and support the recruitment team in selecting the best candidates for open positions.
  • Facilitate onboarding and training programs for new employees.
  • Conduct new hire orientation sessions to introduce new employees to company culture, policies, and their role.
  • Organize and manage internal HR communications, ensuring clarity and timely dissemination of information.
  • Proactively manage the director’s schedule, focusing on optimizing their time and resources.
  • Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation for HR initiatives and meetings.
  • Serve as a liaison between the HR department and other departments, enhancing interdepartmental communication and collaboration.
  • Implement and maintain systems to improve departmental organization and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Intermediary understanding of HR operations, including employment law, recruitment, and employee relations.
  • Proven experience in recruiting, including setting up interviews and conducting new hire onboarding and orientation.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with a talent for balancing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships across various levels of the organization.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism, particularly in handling sensitive employee information.
  • Proficiency in HR software, office tools, and technology.
