Editor / Videographer Job Description

Summary: The editor/videographer will tell stories through video media that fuel and amplify faith, hope, and love. This role will focus on storytelling for the Tim Tebow Foundation. 

Reporting Relationship: This position will report to the CMO of The Tebow Group.

Top Five Responsibilities:

2. First AC on productions
3. Collaborate & Innovate
4. Adhere to brand guides
5. Utilize our project management system

Requirements: 

• Desire to be a part of a mission-driven organization. Due to our support of the Tim Tebow Foundation, our storytelling is focused on Christian and ministry content.
• 5-7 years of editing experience. Premiere and Final Cut are accepted, but candidates will be asked to learn DaVinci Resolve to be used as primary NLE. This will include both standard editing and color grading.
• 3-5 years of experience in After Effects with advanced motion design skills.
• A master storyteller who can develop a story arc, build an emotional connection with the viewer, and inspire them to respond. 
• Curiosity and enthusiasm to evolve skills by continually researching new editing techniques, software, and plugins.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator with basic graphic design abilities.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work with varying and changing needs and deadlines.

The Role: 

• Create compelling video content for delivery in a variety of mediums, including social media platforms, websites, and digital use. The majority of our work is for social media content, so understanding best practices for sizing, framing, captioning, and in-app optimization is a must. 
• Use an internal project management system to post work for review and communicate with the team, as well as diligently track time spent editing for all clients.
• Follow our approval process to ensure excellence. 
• Ensure all projects are on schedule and meet required deadlines.
