Job Overview: The Warehouse Specialist plays a critical role in supporting various warehouse functions including inventory control, receiving, shipping, and kitting projects. This role offers the opportunity to develop expertise in multiple areas of the warehouse while contributing to overall operational efficiency and accuracy. Ideal candidates are adaptable, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with a strong work ethic and willingness to grow.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily inventory control tasks, including cycle counts, physical counts, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
• Support accurate receiving processes, ensuring incoming materials are properly verified, labeled, and stocked.
• Participate in outbound shipping activities, verifying accuracy of orders, packaging, labeling, and staging for carrier pickup.
• Coordinate and execute fulfillment-related projects such as kitting or batch shipping.
• Maintain inventory records in SAP and LEIF systems; assist with inventory adjustments as needed.
• Help monitor and maintain proper stock levels, replenishing supplies and reporting low inventory.
• Perform warehouse searches for misplaced or missing stock.
• Assist with resolving inventory or order-related issues in collaboration with other departments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse leadership regarding task status, issues, and improvement opportunities.
• Cross-train and provide support in various warehouse departments as needed.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in a warehouse environment, with exposure to inventory, shipping, or receiving functions.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems; Excel and SAP experience strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to lift, move, and organize materials as required (up to 50 lbs).
• Willingness to learn and grow into a specialist role across multiple warehouse functions.
• Knowledge of lean or continuous improvement practices is a plus.
