Position: Long Term Contract (Possible Extension)

Title: Warehouse/Logistic Specialist (Automotive)

Job Description:

• The Warehouse Supervisor oversees the receiving, storing, packing and shipping of merchandise or materials.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Maintains stock records and schedules.
• Responsible for directing, training and motivating hourly UAW employees in a world class logistics facility.
• Responsible for all operations goals and targets pertaining to safety, quality, delivery, cost, morale and the environment.
• Active involvement with the workforce to improve operations through continuous improvement activities.

Requirements:

• Manufacturing experience (2 years minimum).
• Previous Warehouse Supervisory experience (2 years minimum).
• MUST be able to work any shift schedule and/or OT as needed.
• Candidate should be able to hit the ground running with little supervision.

Preferred Requirements:

• Union Environment Experience.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree.
