We are seeking an experienced and driven Aviation Project Manager to lead and support general aviation planning and development projects. This role involves client relationship management, grant coordination, project planning, and business development within the aviation sector. The ideal candidate has a strong background in general aviation, FAA procedures, and airport infrastructure development.
Manage and coordinate aviation planning and development projects, with a focus on general aviation airports.
Prepare and submit FAA grant applications in compliance with FAA Advisory Circulars and the Airport Improvement Program (AIP) Handbook.
Develop strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional service and communication throughout project lifecycles.
Support the research and acquisition of new clients and project opportunities.
Deliver technical presentations and prepare reports, project proposals, and related documentation.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely and budget-conscious project execution.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local aviation regulations and policies.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Aviation/Airport Management, or Transportation Planning from an accredited institution.
Minimum 5 years of general aviation experience .
Familiarity with FAA Advisory Circulars and the FAA AIP Handbook.
Experience with airport planning, grant applications, and general aviation project development.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus .
