Culinary Event Team: Event Catering Chefs + Kitchen Assistants
JOB OVERVIEW
Dish Food & Events, a Long Island City, NY based off-premise catering company, is hiring lead chefs and kitchen assistants to work at off-premise catered events in New York City, The Hamptons and Hudson Valley.
We are seeking back of house staff who are self-aware, possess a positive attitude and understand the importance of teamwork and caring for each other. Individuals who show a commitment to providing the highest level of hospitality to our guests, will thrive in our environment.
Catering experience is a plus but candidates who have a passion for food, events and hospitality are encouraged to apply. Dish provides both on the job training as well as hands on training sessions throughout the year.
CLASSIFICATION & COMPENSATION
This is a part-time, “on call”, non-exempt position
Positions are paid on a weekly basis, at the starting rate of $30 p/hr (KA) and $40 p/hr (Lead Chef).
