Talent Vision, a leading Staffing and Consulting firm, is partnering with a reputable charter school in Bronx, NY, to fill the position of Certified Elementary Teacher for the 25/26 School Year. As a Certified Elementary Teacher, you will be key in providing quality education and fostering elementary school students' academic and social development. Your passion for teaching, ability to create an engaging learning environment, and dedication to student success will contribute to a positive educational experience for all students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Deliver instruction in a clear and engaging manner, utilizing a variety of teaching strategies and resources.
  • Assess student learning and provide timely feedback to promote growth and achievement.
  • Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes a love for learning.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet students' individual needs and support students with diverse learning needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective instructional practices and strategies.
  • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant information.
  • Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends.
  • Adhere to all school and district policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is required.
  • Valid NYS teaching certification for elementary school is required.
  • Adequate teaching data to validate performance.
  • Prior teaching experience is preferred.
  • Passion for teaching and a genuine commitment to student success.
  • Strong knowledge of subject matter and curriculum standards for elementary school.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment for all students.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, administrators, and parents/guardians.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of students and respond to changing circumstances.
  • Proficiency in using technology to enhance instruction.
