Job Description

Job Summary:

Alliance is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early career professional looking to develop financial analysis skills in a dynamic environment. The Financial Analyst will support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting while working closely with various departments to analyze business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing financial reports, including variance analysis and key performance indicator (KPI) tracking
  • Collaborate with Regional Finance Manager and Group FP&A to support budgeting / forecasting processes
  • Work with Regional Commercial Team as well as Supply Chain to coordinate collection of information required to develop and analyze our transactional data
  • Interpret financial data to recognize changing trends, patterns, and their meaning related to key performance indicators
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models to identify cost drivers and support business decisions
  • Provide Commercial Finance support to Regional Accounting team on month end and quarter end closing activities
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports and presentations as needed
  • Collaborate with Group FP&A as well as Cross-Functional teams to improve financial processes
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • MBA, CFA, CPA or other certification is a plus
  • 0-2 years' experience in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Solid communication, presentation, and writing skills
  • Professionally driven, motivated, and responsible
  • Basic understanding of Financial Statements and IFRS / US GAAP
  • Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and understands financial modelling
  • Familiarity with Microsoft D365 and/or Prophix is a plus
