The Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Planner II to manage and optimize inventory levels, ensuring seamless production and on-time shipments. This role requires a proactive problem solver who can analyze demand trends, adjust inventory plans, and collaborate across departments to maintain operational efficiency. You will play a key role in monitoring stock levels, coordinating shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory records to support customer satisfaction and business success.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and distribute production, work, and shipment schedules to optimize workflow.
• Analyze and adjust shipment plans based on demand fluctuations and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy in inventory records and timely order fulfillment .
• Monitor reorder points and maintain sufficient inventory levels to support production needs.
• Evaluate and verify freight shipments , ensuring accuracy in counts and reporting discrepancies when needed.
• Conduct random audits of shipping invoices to ensure compliance with company policies.
• Track inventory trends, costs, and production challenges , compiling reports to drive decision-making and process improvements.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in inventory control, production planning, or supply chain management .
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to adjust inventory strategies based on demand trends and forecasts.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel .
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with production, logistics, and customer service teams .

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a manufacturing or aerospace/defense environment .
• Familiarity with barcode systems and implementation .
• Knowledge of freight logistics and vendor relations .

The salary range for this position in California is $73,000 - $87,000 per year. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on skills, experience, and relevant qualifications.
