Overview

The Junior Business Analyst (BA) with Junior Project Management (PM) skills, foundational knowledge of NetSuite, and experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) will support the organization in streamlining business processes, enhancing ERP and WMS functionalities, and contributing to small-scale projects. This role will assist in bridging the gap between business operations and technical solutions, with a focus on logistics, inventory, and warehouse processes.

Responsibilities:

Business Process Support:

• Document and analyze business processes related to NetSuite and WMS, identifying areas for improvement.
• Assist in gathering and organizing requirements for system enhancements and process optimization, especially in warehouse operations.

NetSuite and WMS System Support:

• Provide day-to-day support for basic NetSuite functionalities, including troubleshooting and assisting users.
• Assist in the configuration and support of WMS functionalities integrated with NetSuite.
• Support system testing for upgrades, new modules, or configurations, focusing on inventory and warehouse workflows.

Warehouse and Inventory Optimization:

• Collaborate with warehouse teams to identify and address operational bottlenecks using WMS tools.
• Assist in implementing WMS enhancements, including barcode scanning, bin management, and inventory tracking.
• Monitor and help improve data accuracy in inventory and warehouse systems.

Project Assistance:

• Participate in projects involving NetSuite and WMS, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within scope.
• Help track project milestones and prepare project documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including warehouse operations, to ensure project goals are met.

Data and Reporting:

• Assist in maintaining data integrity within NetSuite and WMS through routine audits and clean-up activities.
• Generate basic reports and KPIs to support warehouse operations and business decision-making.

User Support and Training:

• Provide first-level support for NetSuite and WMS users, helping resolve common issues or escalating more complex ones.
• Assist in user training sessions for both NetSuite and WMS.

Documentation and Compliance:

• Maintain clear documentation of business processes, system configurations, and project updates.
• Support the preparation of compliance reports, ensuring adherence to warehouse and inventory standards.

Learning and Development:

• Stay updated on NetSuite, WMS features, and industry trends to recommend system improvements.
• Participate in professional development activities to build BA, PM, and technical expertise.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Data Warehouse design, ETL and large data sets.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL, R, Database Management (Azure), and cloud-based solutions. Spark, Databricks and python experience a plus.
• Proactive, pragmatic work habits and willingness to learn.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
• 1-3 years experience
• Must live locally

Work Environment/Conditions:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to smoke or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/ or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands, reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel or sit; the employee must frequently lift and/ or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to adjust focus.
