Avid Systems is seeking a highly capable Senior Radio Frequency Engineer to support the DC Office of Unified Communications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Land Mobile Radio (LMR) systems and Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) environments, with a strong background in RF design, engineering, and system interoperability.
This is a hands-on technical role requiring strong experience with Motorola systems, codeplug development, RF propagation and interference analysis, and RoIP system design. You’ll support day-to-day operations and strategic planning for mission-critical communications systems used by emergency response agencies across the District.
