• This position is hybrid.

• The office is located in Boston, MA.

Overview

Our client is seeking an extremely organized, detail-oriented person to help us accelerate our onboarding of personalized gifting items on their website. You need to have excellent photoshop skills and be able to interact with vendors and internal partners in clear, concise manner. Vendor interaction will be minimal, but highly focused on problem-resolution.

Required Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated experience in writing and editing product descriptions and marketing content.

• A portfolio showcasing previous copywriting work, particularly for product-focused content.

• Strong photoshop skills.

• Expert grasp of English grammar, style, and punctuation.

• Experience working within Jira or a similar ticketing system.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.

• Understand how dependent and independent clauses affect comma usage, for example.

• Interest in retail and animal-specific writing.

• Capability to understand and enforce legal and compliance requirements.

• Accurate and efficient fact-checking ability with attention to detail.

• Ability to differentiate between parent and child item-level writing in online retail.

• Fungible writing style to match guide and feedback.

• Ability to proofread for grammar, punctuation, and adherence to style guidelines.

• Meticulous attention to detail in reviewing copy for accuracy and consistency.

• Experience working within brand or corporate style guides to ensure tone and messaging consistency.

• Ability to work with vendor-provided content, interpreting and adapting information to fit the brand's voice and standards.

• Comfortable writing for a variety of products, from technical items to consumer goods, tailoring descriptions to each product type.

• Ability to manage multiple writing projects with tight deadlines and maintain high-quality output.

• Strong organizational skills to track revisions, approvals, and version control.

• Able to interact with vendors and internal partners in clear, concise manner.
